Hi,
I have a project which I've gutted the chassis of an RCA tube reel-to-reel. I left the secondary PT connections on the sockets. I disconnected the primary ones, and there are three. Or at least there are three that need to be connected. There are a total of 7 wires. The three that must be primary connections are Black, Black and Yellow, and yellow and Red. The secondary wires Red to 6X4-2, Green and Red to 6X4-7, Brown to 6X4-5, and Black and Yellow to 6X4-4.
The numbers on the PT itself are 972652-3-5 and
353735 RCA (must be the serial #).
I'd rather understand what the 3 wires are supposed to be connected to than experimenting. Although I'll experiment if I can't get any help.
