Are we sure though that they are still making audio transformers for marshalls ?

First I think I remember reading they sold out that part of the biz but not sure secomd the MArshal dealers and repair guys here seem to be using Hammond or Mercury clones of the originals, even the official Marshall dealers. If they were still available I would think they would be offering the original models and maybe the cloes as an alternative right ?

Might be that Drake moved on to Bigger and Better things and May possibly be willing to make them but only as a large order deal.

For Howard the link to the Drake site has a contact link and the trnasformer guys e-mail to make inquiries both for orders and technical so maybe they will tell you what you need to know.

I think both of the clone transformer makers claim they are supposed to be exact copies ( or as close as you can make them now ) of the originals and there is at least one fellow who rewinds and makes his own that has made them with vintage end covers to have the appearance of the originals.
