My Allen OF has a Heyboer OT and it is just as you described. If the bass is turned up over 2-2.5 it's way too boomy.. and if I turn the raw control off all the way, I have to be very careful with the treble control. Don't get me wrong, the amp sounds great, but it does lean more towards a BF Twin feel than it does a Super Rev or a Deluxe Rev (feel and frequency resp).
