I have owned 4 Allen Old Flame Heads, (sold em, and had another made, same builder) the last one was weak... Same Power Tubes, Svet 6L6GCs. The latest Vibroverb I got was also weak...a PR or Deluxe would have smoked both amps. Ditto for my Buddy's Super Reverb, new tranny, same qwimpy sound level...I have been playing 46 years, and know a bit about Amps/Tone, etc.
