I'm tryin to find replacement keys for my mid 60s tolex fender cases (1966 and 1967). I don't really need 'em for security, but it would nice to keep my case from flopping open. The latches work but are kinda loose after all these years.
Anyone know what sort of key fits these latches? I thought the right one was a 'Cheney' #30. I bought a few from a real nice chap over yonder in jolly old England, but they don't seem to have the right grooves to fit the lock. The #30 key only has a channel on one side - the lock faces look like they require the key to be channeled on both sides.
Any help or tips are greatly appreciated.
