- just two areas need addressed on the pups - 1- is the base plate on the bridge pup - just open it up add some wax - heat it till wax runs - and tighten it down by temporarily using the 3- screws without springs -
2- the cover of the neck pup needs 1/8" layer of wax in the head of it - so it melts between the cover and the head of the pup --
Squeal is caused by air gaps between two surfaces - it allows the signal to bounce and multiply andis sent to the amp as squeal - the amp completes the circle and it becomes feedback..
the mixture is 40%beeswax 60% paraffin the temp is about 140* to 180*
I just use the Blow Dryer - or solder Iron's shaft to apply the heat --
