I have what I'm thinking is a pre-Nov. 1950 ash body that came with some early 1950 parts. It once belonged to a country artist that had a few number-one hits back in the '70's. The body is 1.70" thick, no center channel, later hand-cut truss rod access notch, widened control cavity, typical ground-wire hole, smaller diameter string-through holes, no router's hump, etc. It came with the very early shiny "brittle" guard (single pickup), the flat, sharp-edged strap buttons, 1st generation ZYW1S5 paper capacitor, 1 CM ink-coded pot, 1 (later?) IRC 1955 pot, horeshoe CRL switch, "crosshatch" style milled jack cup, slotted screws, and various other parts. the body has some weird features, too (no neck-pocket lip, no dowels that I can see, nail holes in untypical locations, deeper-than-normal lead pup cavity, and others. The body is definitely old, light, and very play-worn. I can email pics and detailed info if anyone is interested. I have a single-slot truss rod 1950 neck on it now, but its not original to the body
