Due to the extensive service charges, I have recently decided to discontinue accepting credit cards (sorry). In addition to the usual services such as mods*/de-mods, [electronic]restoration, general repair, maintenance, etc., I pride myself with the unique and thorough procedures I have developed with respect to preserving vintage (and non-vintage) amps. This includes extensive chassis & transformer rust/oxidation treatments, the treatment of transformer cores to preserve paper (and instill moisture resistance), the treatment of component boards to prevent cracking/contamination, just to name a few. In addition to preserving the amps, it also brings the amp to peak performance as well. I also provide [non-Hi-Fi] speaker reconing. (*NOTE: I will only perform modifications that I find to be appropriate for the particular amp.) Endorsements: After 20+ years of performing "Authorized" warranty service for all the major manufacturers (as of 1993, I was "recognized" by Fender as a "Gold" level technician), I now focus on servicing/maintaning/preserving older gear, and I no longer provide warranty servicing. Having been a musician myself (since about 1963), has always provided additional valuable insight with my amp work. I have delt with most all of the parts suppliers at one time or another. |
