Comments: I'm an Electrical Engineer who's main job is designing In Flight Entertainment systems for Private Aircraft.
I have done professional repairs for several businesses over the years. As a sideline business I currently build/rebuilt,
mod/demod and repair guitar amps. I have a full test lab including Audio analyzers, DVM's, O'scopes, Spectrum Analyzer
and associated gear. I have a small woodworking/metal working facility.

Lenahan Electronics -- james.lenahan@yahoo.com
Fort Smith, AR 72903
Accepts: cash
Rates: I charge by the job instead of by the hour. I discuss this with the customer up-front, and will often disassemble the item in the customer's presence in order to point out the problem, the solution, and what is involved in the repair. This way, there is total disclosure up-front, and I get the opportunity to show the customer that I am trustworthy.
Mods, de-mods, repairs, building on major tube amplifiers and guitars. Former Soldano builder, former Ampeg R&D
builder, former factory warranty repair for Fender, Marshall, Gibson, Guild. Former Fender Gold Level electronics
warranty repair. Extremely familiar with Fender and Marshall tube amplifiers of all years, and Fender and Gibson
guitars of all years and models. Re-wires, pickup installs, fret work, set-ups, anything except refinishing.
Effects pedals repaired and modified when possible, effects pedal building. Not interested in working on P.A.
system power amps of any stripe, or anything that says, "Squier", "Behringer", "Rogue", "Tapco", or "Mackie"
on it. Will try, at least, to help folks out, but some items are more trouble than others.

Will be re-applying for Fender factory service center in February 2008. Fender is not accepting any new warranty
shops until then. My past factory warranty service center status was through a retail music store, who, after
many years, decided to abolish the repair department, because, "Guitar Center doesn't do repairs..."

I would love to expand into dealerships for some of these fine companies in the future.
