Both Jackson steels and simmons make an affordable one. I'm also
potentially thinking about a carter magnum, seeing as I can get one for
around 1600. Anybody have any suggestions as to what is a good
steel to start with under 2000, that I will still be able to use down the
line? The carter starter seems like a piece of garbage.
