The repro Kluson style "3 ON A STRIP" tuners should fit just fine. I've done this on a few old laps. No holes to drill. I would not do the individual tuners. I'd try to keep it as close to original as possible. I prefer the quality of the Gotoh repro 3 on a strip machines to any others. Install them and put the originals away somewhere or in the case pocket. They can be straightened and possibly repaired and put back on if you ever decide to sell it to a "collector."
