Well----that Ted fellow doesn't know squat about speakers----I take the Cali over the JBL myself.
(insert smiley here, in case of humorless readers). But seriously, the only liability to either of these speakers is their limited power handling. I really like the Black Widow for SS amps with 200+W output. But when I can get by with the power rating, my A/B tests gave the nod to the Cali (paper dust cap) over a D130F. I could start a museum with all the Calis of various sizes and configs that I've got in service for my various PSG needs.
