Rick is a straight up guy. I got outbid me on a Rick Academy Ebay auction several years ago. I saw a pic of his on the steelguitar site and emailed him, asked if that was the one I'd missed on ebay. It was. Two months later, Rick saw another listed (which I had not seen), emailed me and said "Buy this one." That was so helpful. He also sent some CDs, stuff from Andy Iona and some other mindblowing players. A very decent man ... I hope to meet him someday.
