Are you asking about the page view of the entire site or the images you are posting ?

Posted images can be either too small or too big for the page view or just right of course. depending on the format used from Bitmap ( very large file ) to small sized JPEGs the image shows up differently.

If the entire page view of the site is small maybe you have the setting on your browser wrong for that site. Don't know if the text size setting changes the pic views on every browser but that might be one cause of that problem.
I'm using explorer 7 browser which has a built in zoom level that works for a lot of smaller pics but zoom can also cause distortion if the original file posted was too small to begin with which compresses the pixels or something like that and makes larger grain spots of color or contrast that can be grainey when zoomed.

A little more info on exactly what your problem is shmidlin might get a clearer answer.

Just trying to be helpful of course hope something gels that solves your problem.
