Is an attenuator even necessary though as people on other forums are saying I don't need one and that they never heard of a reason to use one since I am not using a tube amp and I am not looking to get a cranked sound at bedroom levels. That said they also don't want to be blamed if my amp blows up for not having a load on it. But they stress it shouldn't be necessary. What say you Ted?
