Subject: Drumming Pattern - Help with Terminology |

Hey, all. Hope you had a nice Christmas.
Need your help here. I've got a couple of sound clips here at my site:

Both clips on top titled "Chuck Upside Your Head", numbers 1 and 2.
Apart from the obvious difference in tempo, how do I describe to another drummer the style that is in clip #2... that "sloppy" sort of laid back shuffle pattern. The major difference between 1 and 2 is that 2 has that SLAP-swish SLAP-swish sort of sound.
I'm not musically educated to describe it in correct terms and was hoping someone out there could turn me onto a proper description for this style or type of pattern.
Thanks in advance for all of your help.
