I'm in the process of a complete downsize from 20 watts to 5 watts.

I have some blackheart heads and champs and I'm building some champs.

I tried some different 8" speakers and they work well for low wattage amps in the right cab.

I have an old 2-8 cab with a weber CVC and blue pup that sounds great. It made the Blackheart head come alive.

I'm going to have JD Newell build me an open back 4-8 cab and have 4 old Jensen C8r's for it which sound great.

I am also waiting for a recone on a JBL D208 and EV sp8 with a HUGE Alnico magnet.

There is a company that makes a Marshall type 4X8 cab but they are not here, they're in England. Hartke makes one but you can't find them here either.

Eight inch speakers are great for a very small room and to record. Not for giging.....at all.

3 watts.....try 2-8" speakers, either the old Jensen C8R or the Blue pup or CVC.

I also have an old blue Utah 8 in a EPI combo that sounds awesome.
