Newbie: Can you use effects between amp and ext. cab.?

Subject: Newbie: Can you use effects between amp and ext. cab.?

I have a great sounding amp and extension cabinet. I would like to run straight into the amp and put my Fender outboard reverb before the extension cabinet. Any way to do this?
