Anyone got any recommendations for a 15" driver? I have a bottom-slot ported 15" bassman cab...currently I have a Carvin 8 ohm, 600W in there, and it is actually pretty warm sounding, not mushy/harsh...I am using a solid state ampeg head (200W at 8 ohms, 350@4)for gigging...so I would need something higher power than what Ted sells...obviously eminence legend would work, but everyone's got one, anything else? My band does mostly rock stuff, I play with a 5string Jazz w/ stock pickups...I like the boom I get with my 15" cab vs. my 4x10 on that low B string, but the punch is a bit lacking.
