hi all, i picked up a ric copy (univox, pretty nice!) with bartolini pups, but the stereo jack does not play the bass pup when i use a stereo to 2 mono splitter to 2 good amps.
standard output plays both pups but the neck pup sounds nasally/out of phase by itself. pups are marked N on neck and S Coil on the bridge.
I checked against this linked wiring diagram but it all looks ok. One thing that puzzles me is the shielded wire from the the stereo jack to the neck vol pot does not ground, only the hot goes to the outside tab. is that right? What am i missing?
